Following the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider for Xbox One and Xbox 360 back in November, Square Enix has announced that the game will be coming to PC for Windows 10 and Steam on January 28th.
New for the PC version, Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes Software, who handled the port, have added support for Windows 10 and 4K resolution. Check out the first 4K screens from the PC version below.
Of the announcement and subsequent PC version, Ron Rosenberg, co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics. had the following to say “PC players are a passionate, devoted audience and we know they’ll embrace the version created for their systems.”
The PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available as a digital download via Steam, the Windows Store, and other major retailers. The Standard edition will be available for £39.99/€49.99. The Digital Deluxe edition, including a season pass that that will give players access to “nearly” all current and future DLC will be available for £59.99/€77.99
If that’s not enough, a Collector’s Edition will also be available from the Square Enix e-store for £109.99/€129.99, which includes the Digital Deluxe version of the game, a 12-inch Lara Croft statue, replicas of Lara’s journal and jade necklace, and a steel case.
