Another game that we’ll be seeing at E3 next week, Space Hulk: Deathwing, has revealed that it has a single player campaign this morning. Some new fantastic looking screenshots were released for the game as well.

According to the latest press release from Focus Home Interactive, Deathwing, will have “a narrative written by renowned Black Library author Gav Thorpe, as the game takes players on a grand and immersive journey through the infested hallways of a labyrinth of space ships.”

While the game does offer co-op, the campaign can be played as a single player title with AI squad mates that you can give orders to, much like Star Wars: Republic Commando or Rainbow Six. The press release states, “as a Librarian, players will be able to make use of powerful psychic abilities, and give orders to their squad to avoid being flanked, secure doorways…[etc]”

Deathwing is also touting a pretty interesting dynamic AI feature that will essentially make the game more challenging the better you play. Developer Streum On Studio describes it as “a dynamic AI system that scales attacks depending on the ability of the player squad, ensuring players will always be challenged. If you’re doing well, the Genestealers will intensify their assault, but as you begin to weaken, they’ll not unnecessarily risk their numbers.”

Some new screenshots were released this morning, you can check them out just below. Space Hulk: Deathwing is coming to the PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2016.

We’ll be getting our first look at Deathwing at E3 2015, so be sure to stay tuned to OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter for more information as we have it.
