Sony has surprisingly changed July’s PlayStation Plus free games, but has not provided any explanation why.
Sony made the announcement in its blog, Quantic Dream’s Detroit: Become Human replaces Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2019. However Sony did not explain the reasoning behind the last minute change for this month’s PlayStation Plus games.
The company rarely alters the list of free PS Plus offerings after it is first revealed, especially such an unexplained last minute change.
The good news is that PlayStation Plus subscribers will still get Horizon Chase Turbo, the arcade-style racer from developer Aquiris Game Studio and the digital deluxe edition of Detroit: Become Human.
July’s PlayStation Plus games went live on July 2, this date will also be when June’s offerings — Sonic Mania and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection — are removed.
