Sonic Team Racing

Sonic Team Racing has suffered a massive delay of about six months.

Today’s blue-blur news comes via the Sonic Twitter account. The tweet made things clear that the game would not make its initially planned December release window. Sonic Team Racing is now set for a May 21, 2019 launch.

There are not too many details as to why the game was delayed, just an update attributing the late launch to quality.

The most recent news from the Sega camp saw the announcement of some new characters set to join the racing cast.

On the bright side, Sega does sound to have more to show on the game in the coming months.

Stay tuned to OnlySP’s FacebookTwitter, and YouTube for more updates on when the racing title will cross the finish line.

Michael fell into the OnlySP team toward the end of 2017. You’ll mostly catch his work over in the news area, but that doesn’t mean he won’t dip into the features section every now and then. For him, gaming doesn’t get much better than Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario Sunshine. Though he is a die-hard Nintendo fan, he grew up on PlayStation.
