Now that we’ve had the opportunity to sit with Grand Theft Auto V for a couple weeks, we posted our review this week, along with many other news articles and editorials from the world of gaming.

Editorials, News, and Reviews

As I said, we posted our Grand Theft Auto V Review this week, as well as our review for NHL 14.

To go along with our review of GTA V, we posted some tips for playing the game, and Damien discussed how it benefits from a generation’s experience. Digressing from Grand Theft Auto, Dragon Age: Inquisition is a step in the right direction for fantasy RPGs. Our Top 5 Tuesday this week was on the Top 5 Games that Pioneered Mechanics, and in our Discussion Point this week, we discussed What Determines the Value of Games. Finally, David ranted about how cross-gen titles are a drag.

This week was filled with news as well. We finally got news of The Last of Us DLC as well as learning second-screen details of Beyond: Two Souls. New gameplay videos were shown for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground ZeroesThe Evil Within, and Batman: Arkham Origins’ Deathstroke. Valve announced SteamOS, and Dead Rising 3 Xbox 360 rumors were debunked. New PS4 UI images were released, as well as new details for Resogun. Finally, Frictional Games teased their new game and the alternate ending for The Last of Us was released.

Personal Entertainment Update

This week has been mainly taken up by Grand Theft Auto V for me. However, the biggest news for me is that I finally started to watch Breaking Bad, and I finally realized what I’ve missed out on for so long.

Conclusion

This week should be filled with Grand Theft Auto Online as that goes live this week. We will, as always, have a slew of editorials and news articles going up as well this week.

Catch you guys next week and keep gaming!
