With the recent unsurprising revelation that the next Mass Effect will indeed include multiplayer, fans of the franchise have been wrought with worry that the game’s single player campaign would suffer from the spread of resources.

Senior development director Chris Wynn, says not to worry, however, and that the single player campaign in the next Mass Effect will be “massive”. He added that the online portion of the game won’t take anything away from the single player campaign either.

  1. My biggest hope for the new Mass Effect is that they treat it sort of like Dragon Age and give us a lot to do and explore without as much directness in the story.

  2. I’m not buying their PR BS. They obviously haven’t learned from their mistakes last time.

    1. Weak minded fools like you believed every word of Bioware’s PR hype. You have no one to blame but yourself.

  3. I hope (but it seems unlikely) the next Mass Effect game will be more linear. The best parts of Dragon Age: Inquisition for me were in the main story (like Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts) where the player had to be on a linear path and couldn’t wander off to close Fade rifts on the Storm Coast at any time. That was only part of the game though.

But not having any connections to MP that get in the way of single-player helps anyway.
