In a recent live stream, The Sims series developer Maxis announced that a first-person perspective camera will be added to The Sims 4.
The first-person camera was announced during the Maxis Monthly live stream by build engineer Steve Lansing.
The camera was initially added as a joke by engineer Greg Fuller, but the team enjoyed the feature so much that it was implemented into the game.
The camera will be added to The Sims 4 as part of the game’s free patch for PC on November 13, 2018. Console versions will likely receive the patch at a later date, according to Lansing.
