Doom and mayhem unite as Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom releases on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

In a move by Enigami and Focus Home Interactive, the respective developer and publisher behind the game, Shiness was released alongside a launch trailer on April 18, 2017. Sporting impressive cartoon graphics, Shiness is an action-RPG that puts players in control of Chado and his companions as they embark on a journey that pits them against several kingdoms competing for power. With the aid of a magical spirit called the Shiness, Chado must attempt to resolve this power struggle while exploring an interactive world and combating enemies using a combination of classic fighting mechanics and magic. The launch trailer can be seen below.

Digital copies of Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom are available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on Steam, PlayStation Store, and Xbox Games Store respectively. The price across all platforms is consistent at $29.99. The game’s world is also complete with a Manga series as created by Samir Rebib, Artistic Director of Enigami.

OnlySP’s Joanna Nelius went hands-on with the game at E3 last year and her full impressions are available here.

Enigami—an independent French video game developer—worked with Focus Home Interactive to produce and publish Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom. Focus Home Interactive is a French video game publisher and distributor that is also known for titles such as Sherlock Holmes, TrackMania, and Runaway.
