Frogwares Game Development studios have revealed the release date for Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter.
The Devil’s Daughter will be released on May 27th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The eighth game in the long running adventure game series, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter, promises to blend several different types of gameplay elements including investigation, action and exploration to create an experience that will test the limits of players’ nerves and intelligence.
Though details on the game’s plot are still scant, we do know that players will once again take on the role of Sherlock Holmes and will be tasked with tracking down evil in the darkest corners of Victorian London. Exploring several different boroughs in the city while searching for clues and tracking down suspects in several seemingly unrelated cases that will eventually form a web of intrigue, leading to a final stunning revelation for the great detective and his trusted partner as the pair are caught between family, dark forces and a foe with a powerful thirst for vengeance.
Along with the release date Frogwares have also released the final cover art for the game, which features the titular detective and Watson standing in what appears to be Westminster after a riot, or some sort zombie outbreak.
