After being released last year on PC, the FPS Shadow Warrior  a reimagining of the 1997 game of the same name is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this September. Devolver Digital  who will be distributing the game digitally announced the news earlier today. Fork Parker, CFO of Devolver Digital, explained the reasoning for bringing the game to consoles.

Our fans have been very vocal about bringing Shadow Warrior to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One so we’re absolutely thrilled to be working with our friends at Majesco to put Wang in a box later this year.

As stated in the above quote, Majesco will be handling and distributing the game at retail, and Jesse Sutton, Majesco CEO, told gamers what they could expect from Shadow Warrior.

Shadow Warrior turns the ’90s nostalgia meter way up, delivering big guns, big blades and big attitude laced with humor.

The game will be priced at $39.99 so be sure to check it out if you love FPS’s with a retro feel. Also, follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up-to-date with Shadow Warrior and all your single player gaming news.

  1. ahh majesco, why cant you release advent rising 2?

anyway good game, 15 hours long, shooting is kinda sucky, sword combat is great, lots of secrets and easter eggs, lots of gore, worth buying.

Lol 40 bucks? so this is gonna get a boxed copy by the looks of it. i think it launhced on pc or less than 40 bucks, but consoles got royality fees, so they gotta pay that one as well.

Buy it one the best fps in the last few years.

    Also 1080p 60 fps on ps4, 900p on xbone.
