Harebrained Schemes, the developers behind the Shadowrun series, have just announced a Kickstarter campaign for Shadowrun: Hong Kong. The game follows Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun: Dragonfall, both of which have received praise for their style and writing.
For those unfamiliar with the series, Shadowrun games are turn based RPGs and take place in a cyberpunk world where humans interact with futuristic technology and magic. The new game is set where the title implies and, with it, brings players into the underground world of triads and gangs all while dealing with an unknown supernatural force and more.
At the time of writing, the campaign has raised just over $400,000, four times the initial goal despite the very recent launch. As such, the campaign has already met some of its stretch goals and still has plenty of time to raise more.
