Samurai Shodown

The Nintendo Switch version of Samurai Shodown has received a release date.

Samurai Shodown will release on Switch on February 25, 2020. Players can share their Joycons with a friend to engage in 2 player, 1 on 1 action. The game on Switch will also have parity with versions on other platforms at 60FPS.  Preorders for the game will include a Switch version of Samurai Shodown! 2, which was originally released for the Neo Geo Pocket Color back in April 1999.

Samurai Shodown was released for Switch in Japan back in December 2019, following its worldwide release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in June 2019, and for Stadia in November 2019. A release for PC is also planned.

Earlier last year, developer SNK turned down an exclusivity deal on PC. Currently, which PC digital distribution storefront Samurai Shodown will appear on has not been confirmed.
