Sega has confirmed that Sakura Wars will launch in the west in late April.
Sakura Wars is set 12 years after its predecessor, which released in 2005. The latest entry in the series has turned away from its traditional tactical combat in favor of a more action approach.
Some key note features of the game include a dramatic character interplay system. This gives players control over what their character says and how they say it, which has different effects that impact characters on and off the battlefield.
Sakura Wars was released for PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 12, 2019, and will launch worldwide on April 28, 2020.
