Agent Roswell

Blue Horizon Studios has shared a trailer for its forthcoming alien invasion game Agent Roswell.

The footage looks like a mash-up of the absurdist extraterrestrial themes from Destroy All Humans! and Saints Row‘s cartoonish aesthetic and gameplay.

Purportedly inspired by real historical events, including the 1947 Roswell UFO incident, Agent Roswell casts players as a secret agent in 1969. The goal is to prevent an alien invasion.

Players will be able to bring down flying saucers with an array of weaponry, as well as fight the invaders on the ground.

However, the game also seems to carry echoes of L.A. Noire, with the player tasked with collecting artefacts, covering up evidence, and solving other puzzles.

Though no release window has yet been confirmed, the game will launch first via Steam Early Access, where it is expected to remain for at least six months while Blue Horizon expands and improves the general quality.
