It looks like Saints Row 4 might finally be getting an age rating review from the Australian Classification Board. The news broke that an application to have the explicit game’s classification change was put forward, despite the game receiving a “Refused Classification” rating last month.

The ACB revealed that the “interactive, visual depictions of implied sexual violence” and the use of “illicit or proscribed drugs” is what caused the game to receive the “RC” (Refused Classification) rating. However, fans of Saints Row 4 are warned that if the controversial game is released in Australia, it may be subject to censorship that could remove certain elements of the game. The review board will meet on the 29th of July to consider the application.
