In an open discussion with Australian YouTuber SpotTheOzzie, Slightly Mad Studios CEO Ian Bell revealed some delicate hints regarding one of the company’s projects.
When talking about the Need for Speed series, Bell equates Need for Speed’s content with that of a Hollywood film franchise. “I can tell you we have a six-year deal with that major Hollywood company that’ll beat what Need for Speed is doing. For the next six years,” said Bell, reiterating previous hints about the developer’s upcoming title.
Although Fast & Furious was not directly mentioned in Bell’s conversation with SpotTheOzzie, the developer later dropped hints that seemed rather telling. However, no official confirmation has yet been made, meaning that whether or not the studio’s current project is a Fast & Furious title remains a rumor for now.
