According to a leak on Twitter, the highly anticipated Far Cry 4 is rumored to be set in the Himalayas, a mountain range in Asia that is home to the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest.  The setting will apparently also have “monsters(?)” which points to one of the infamous mythological creatures: the Yeti. Given the hallucinogenic nature of Far Cry 3, having a giant ape monster as an enemy doesn’t sound too unlikely.

The leak comes from Kotaku columnist and gaming insider Superannuation who accidentally tweeted the setting instead of sending it as a Direct Message (DM).  Check out the tweets below.

What do you think? Does a Himalayan setting sound exciting? Or would you rather Ubisoft stick to the Blood Dragon theme? Let us know in the comments.
