Rogue Legacy

Indie hits are continuing to find a home on Nintendo Switch and Rogue Legacy appears to be no stranger either.

According to a retail listing on the European eShop, Rogue Legacy is set to release on Switch November 6.

For those unfamiliar, the game takes the rogue-like formula to another level by making every life players lose a mark on a family tree. Each time the player spawns as a new descendant, the character will have unique powers and attributes to utilize. Even the description on the summary page notes gameplay as a “genealogical rogue-lite.”

Much like many of the other rogue-likes that precede it, the game is not exactly easy. This emphasis on quick learning and life-losing makes Rogue Legacy feel like an intelligent fit for Nintendo Switch.

So far no official word on the listing has come out, but all signs point an imminent release.

Until the game releases next month check out this piece on another brilliant rogue-like called The Binding of Isaac.
