Publisher Curve Digital has revealed Hotshot Racing, a brand new racing game inspired by retro arcade games coming this year.
Inspired by classic arcade racers from the 1990s, Hotshot Racing boasts a retro, polygonal art style. Gameplay will focus heavily on boosting and drifting around corners, with support for 60 frames per second across all platforms.
The publisher stated that the game will include eight individual drivers and 16 separate tracks. A variety of single-player modes are also available, such as cops and robbers.
The game is the work of developers Lucky Mountain Games and Sumo Digital. The former had previously announced a similar title called Racing Apex in 2019.
According to Curve Digital, Hotshot Racing will launch on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, though a specific release date has not yet been revealed.
