By Straight from the rumor mill and all the pre-E3 hype comes the news that a new Resident Evil game is upon us.
While nothing has been strictly confirmed by Capcom, the residentevilnews.com community forums seems to provide liquid evidence that Resident Evil 7 will be making its debut appearance at E3 2013.
What do you think about the Resident Evil 7 rumors not even one year since Resident Evil 6? Is it even crazy to consider Capcom making Resident Evil into a yearly franchise in the same vein of Call of Duty and Assassin’s Creed?

Well it makes sense with the new consoles being released. That said the teaser for RE5 was released two years before the game release. And Shinji Mikami has a reputation for being a perfectionist. After all he did scrap RE2 three thirds into the game’s development. I think we can expect RE7 to be released early 2015. However there is good news. A source in Capcom recently stated that RE is going back to it’s roots. The source claims that they’ve listened to the fans, and they want survival horror. I really hope this is true after Gears Of Evil 1 and 2(RE5, RE6) and Call Of Duty: Operation Raccoon City. They owe us that much since their only good game since RE4 was Revelations.Community
