Those of you with great memories will probably know that at one point in the history of this very young site, we had our very own forums! They were a bustling hive of culture and enlightenment, with a community so large and dedicated-

Actually, the forums were kind of a ghost town, partly because of spam-bots and partly because we weren’t quite as popular of a site back then. We disbanded those forums, and for a long while their were none… until now.

We started an IndieGoGo fundraiser very recently to try and save up for some brand new software that would make our next attempt at forums look sleek and spam-free. We’re proud to announce that we finally reached that goal, thanks in large part to a massive donation of $100 from legendary fan DarthPrince. Thanks a ton, man! We’ll make sure to reward and immortalize you somehow.

We just finished setting up the forums, which can be viewed here. You’ll also see a link to the forums on the main site very soon.

I (Michael Urban), Nick and Milin have currently registered as moderators/smooth operators. There are five main sections so far, and though we may add more later, I’ll give you a rundown of what we have now:

Only Single Player Updates – This section is where you’ll find updates regarding the site and its events. You can also post any feedback or concerns about our site here and we’ll try to help you out ASAP.

Single Player Discussion – This one is for general discussion about pretty much anything, as long as you keep it clean. We refer to our community as single-players, just to alleviate any confusion. There’s a topic where you can introduce yourself to the community, as well as a topic for the discussions themselves.

Game Talk – This one is for discussing anything gaming related. Pretty straightforward.

The Big 12 – This one is for talking about games that are part of our Big 12 list of featured titles. If you’re a huge fan of the franchise of a particular game on our list, or you’re just super excited for said game, this is probably where you’ll wanna be.

Extras – This one is for talking about gaming-related books and soundtracks. Have you read a great tie-in novel or listened to a great game soundtrack recently and wanna share it with others? Do you have any recommendations? This is the place to talk about them!

Just remember that wherever you go on our forums, nastiness such as intense profanity, rudeness, spamming, insults and anything else inappropriate will not be tolerated! We have our banhammers polished to a shiny gleam and aim to maintain order. We’re working on getting an official rulebook in place, but until then, common sense and general consideration for your fellow man/woman will ensure that you have a great time on our forums.

That about does it. We really hope you enjoy our forums and help build a great community for them! Remember, if you have any questions or concerns, please let us know in the feedback topic. Happy gaming and forum-posting! We hope to see you all very soon.
