Well here is a surprise for everyone. Despite being apparently very poor game Raccoon City still managed to sell 500,000 units. Most of these sales come from North America region (could that possibly mean Americans have no taste?).

In any case it must be great news for Capcom and the developers (Slant Six). For comparison the recently released FF13-2 (which also was tagged as poor developed sequel) managed to sell around half a million units in opening week.

I don’t think the sales figures will cross million units milestone anytime soon but let’s wait and see.
