It seems the recent 2D platformer Rayman Origins may have indeed been the start of something new, as word of a sequel is going around.

A recent survey from a marketing site called Arkenford (as can be seen below) mentioned an “upcoming sequel of Rayman Origins” that will feature “legendary worlds filled with castles, vampires, ghosts, Greek Gods, [and] dragons.” It certainly sounds exciting, but given that Ubisoft hasn’t given so much as a whimper yet regarding a sequel, it would be best to classify this as a rumor for the time being.

Did you enjoy Rayman Origins? Our own Nick Calandra certainly did, and after playing through it a bit myself, I can’t say I disagree with him. You can look forward to more info regarding Ubisoft’s platformer sequel here at OnlySP.
