In a tweet earlier today, community lead for CD Projekt RED, Marcin Momot, confirmed that the patch bringing HDR to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PlayStation 4 Pro is still in development.
While the patch to bring Pro support to the PS4 edition of Wild Hunt was released back in October 2017, HDR support has eluded fans so far, despite being promised in December.
However, Momot has now confirmed that the patch is still in development, but a number of bugs have been encountered that need to be resolved before the patch is released, with CD Projekt RED not wanting to compromise on quality.
.@witchergame PS4 Pro HDR patch is still very much in development. Due to the fact that we’ve discovered some additional bugs along the way, we need more time to finish it. We don’t want to compromise the quality of the update, so we would like to ask you for a bit more patience.

Momot did not comment on any potential date for the patch or affirm any of the questions on whether the patch might also add an framerate improvement for the Xbox One.
