Tequila Works finally showed off some more of their mysterious PlayStation 4 exclusive, RiME, at Gamescom this past week and have been answering some fan questions via their Twitter account.
According to the Twitter handle, RiME is scheduled for a 2015 release, but did not specify exactly which quarter. I’d place my bet on releasing sometime during the Summer of 2015 to coincide with Sony’s Play promotion for indie games.

In addition, some new gameplay details were revealed by the Twitter account. From the trailers we’ve mostly seen some exploration footage along with a few puzzles, but other than that, the game remains quite mysterious. According to the developers, there will be no combat in the game, but there will be action sequences. If you’ve played Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons I’d expect something similar to that in regards to the action aspect.
@goartygo@tequilaworks Action puzzle adventure. No combat. Action? Yes. Weapons and killing? No. Thanks!
