The rumours of a PC port of Red Dead Redemption 2 refuse to die, with a new listing for the game popping up on Australia’s rating board.
A mystery title from Rockstar Games listed as Bonaire appeared on the Australian Classification Board’s website last month, but was later removed as “There is no computer game called Bonaire,” according to e-mail correspondence posted on ResetEra.
However, a new listing for Red Dead Redemption 2, was refused classification on August 20, 2019.
Meanwhile, the original listing remains from September 5, 2018 remains on the Board’s website, suggesting that the new one may refer to a re-release of some kind. The Board often rates new versions of games separately.
Although mounting evidence continues to point to a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar has so far remained silent on the topic. As such, any assertions for the existence of a port remain speculative.
However, the game has already proven to be a massive success on consoles, surpassing 24 million sales by May this year.
