Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be getting expansion passes.

Nintendo announced the news during its Nintendo Direct broadcast.

The Expansion Pass will include two major expansions for the games as well as a plethora of other content.

‘The Isle of Armor’ is the first expansion expected to release by the end of June 2020 where players will take an apprenticeship at a local dojo. New environments await players on the isle such as bogs and sand dunes. During the apprenticeship, players will meet plenty of new characters, Pokémon, and gain access to several new clothing options.
