The expectations for the  summer rollout of Playstation Now just got higher.

Colin Moriarty over at yesterday reported on Sony’s Playstation Now invitation-only event. According to the IGN article, Sony’s Todd Liss said that, “Playstation Now will launch with ‘hundreds of titles,'” although the article was updated with the statement that Sony has not officially confirmed the number of launch titles available for PS Now.

At the event,  Sony showcased Playstation Now streams of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus on Playstation 4 and PS Vista, respectively, but did not release any further information. At present, we know that game rentals may cost $4.99-$5.99, and that available rentals will include b0th first-party and third-party titles.

Playstation Now is going through closed beta testing right now and will release this summer in North America.
