Frontier Developments’ have released a new development diary for their upcoming theme park sim, Planet Coaster.

This latest vignette features the Planet Coaster’s developers taking players through the ins and outs of the game’s modular building systems, which they believe will give players a far greater level of control when constituting rides and attractions.

Being able to control and lay each piece of the track individually also lets players have their rides become a part of the environment rather than simply lay on top of it, letting them build roller coasters through caverns and tunnels to great effect.

The video also touches on the game’s proposed sharing elements that will allow players to share all of their creations with other members of the community with a couple clicks of the mouse.

As a fan of Theme Park and Rollercoaster Tycoon, I have to say I’m impressed.
