Phoenix Point

Phoenix Point has suffered another delay, though this time the wait will not be too much longer.

During a development update video posted to the Phoenix Point YouTube channel, Creative Director Julian Gallop announced that the game will see a three-month delay. Now, the X-COM spiritual successor is planned to launch sometime in September.

Be sure to check up on the full video down below.

Gallop was one of the primary forces behind the original X-COM, so his upcoming science-fiction strategy game has many excited. Just a few weeks ago, the game’s developer Snapshot Games talked a bit about some new mechanics to expect come September.

Phoenix Point is planned to hit Mac, PC, and Xbox One.

Today’s delay is nothing to dread, so keep up with OnlySP on FacebookTwitter, and YouTube until the game launches.

For him, gaming doesn’t get much better than Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario Sunshine. Though he is a die-hard Nintendo fan, he grew up on PlayStation.
