A messenger breaks into Rockstar’s studio to deliver the petition.

GTA V is currently set to release on Xbox 360 and PS3, the versions of whose development are being solely focused on right now. Obviously, this isn’t sitting well with the PC community, who have taken to Change.org to make a successful petition.

The petition, seen here, has surpassed 100,000 signatures at the time of writing and shows no sign of slowing down on its way to the goal of 150,000 signatures. The wording is as follows:

Rockstar Games

Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many peoples lives and it’s a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have.

I hope you consider the release of GTA V on PC as it’ll make many people very happy!

Rockstar’s Dan Houser has recently stated that at the moment, development focus is on the console versions, though he did say that other platforms are definitely up for consideration.

Feel free to sign it, though we have a feeling that a PC port is coming regardless. After all, why would Rockstar shaft such a huge audience, especially when every other GTA game made its way onto PC eventually?

Stay tuned for more news on GTA V.
