The Deep End Games Kickstarter for Perception is nearly complete with just over 6 days left to go, but the game is still short of its initial funding goal of $150,000.
Perception is currently sitting at $121,000 on Kickstarter so it’s only got a little hurdle left to be funded. If you’ve never heard of Perception until now, you can find the game’s official description just below.
Perception is a first-person narrative horror adventure that tells the story of Cassie, a blind heroine who uses her extraordinary hearing and razor-sharp wits to unravel the mysteries of an abandoned estate that haunts her dreams. After months of research, she discovers an abandoned mansion in Gloucester MA. Once there, Cassie finds that Echo Bluff is worse than her nightmares. A ghastly Presence has tormented its inhabitants over generations, and it now hunts Cassie. She must solve the estate’s mysteries or become one of its victims.
If you like to have physical copies of your games, the Kickstarter has unleashed a new reward tier for $35 that will net you a physical copy of Perception. Or, you can support the developers with $60 and net a pretty sweet looking collector’s edition for the game if you’re into that sort of stuff. Currently Perception is only planned to release on the PC, with PS4 and Xbox One stretch goals listed.
