Sega is teasing an imminent relaunch of Platinum Games’s 2010 shooter Vanquish for PC, following on from the recent Steam release of Bayonetta.
The project was first hinted at in a small, post-launch update to Bayonetta’s PC version, which added a picture of Vanquish protagonist Sam Gideon to the game. Yesterday on Twitter, however, Sega posted a picture of the logo for the Order of the Russian Star, the rogue military force that overthrew the Russian government within the game’s fiction, alongside “2017.” The publisher has today added another piece of information with a new picture, embedded below:

The inclusion of “05” in the corner, taken in conjunction with yesterday’s clue, embedded below, clearly alludes to the fifth month, being this month, suggesting that the PC release of Vanquish will be available later this month, though the exact date is unlikely to be announced until tomorrow.
