Paradox Interactive has announced Crusader Kings III will be coming to PC in 2020.
A new post on the Paradox Interactive Store highlights some changes coming to the sequel, such as 3D character models and a highly detailed map.
Crusader Kings III will have players’ choices dynamically affect the world. Dynasties will change due to familial and political changes, and religion will be more in players’ control this time around.
Crusader Kings III‘s game director, Henrik Fåhraeus, said “seeing its predecessor explode in popularity was very satisfying, especially considering that user-friendliness was never our primary goal. Now we have a chance to address an even larger audience.”
As a celebration of the upcoming title, Paradox Interactive has made Crusader Kings II free on all platforms.
Furthermore, Paradox Interactive confirmed that further feature updates will be announced in greater detail within the next few months.
