Those who have played Bloodlines will likely recognise several locations in the screenshots, including Surfside Diner, an enflamed Ocean Hotel, The Ventrue Penthouse, The Malkavian Mansion, Fat Larry’s Van, and the Nosferatu Sewers.
At the end of 2018, Vampire: The Masquerade returned with its fifth pen-and-paper version. Whether a new title will tie in with this version of the game remains to be seen, but OnlySP is certainly excited to possibly revisit this genius take on open-world RPG design.
Bloodlines became a sleeper hit on release. Following a mixed reception due to development issues by Troika Games, the game went on to have a new lease of life following a series of fan mods and amendments. Now, the title stands as a staple for Gothic aesthetics and RPG systems in games, so fans should certainly be excited at the possibility of a modern interpretation of the universe.
