The original Alien (1979) cast are having a re-union as they are set to star in a pre-order exclusive DLC for Alien: Isolation.

Sigourney Weaver (Ellen Ripley), Tom Skerritt (Dallas), Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett), and Yaphet Kotto (Parker) have been confirmed to star in two missions entitled “Crew Expendable” and “Last Survivor”, which can be obtained through pre-ordering Alien: Isolation but “Last Survivor” is only available through pre-ordering through select retailers, which have yet to be announced.

The missions will take place during climactic moments in the film, where Ripley and the crew attempt to flush out the Alien Xenomorph from the Nostromo spaceship.

Gamers’ reactions have been split; Some are happy to be able to relive some classic moments from the Alien film while others are angry that content they want is being locked behind a pre-order paywall and which retailer they purchase from.

We’d like to hear just what you think about this in the comments below. Alien: Isolation comes out October 7th for Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

  1. Oh, joy. Pre-Order DLC. Because God knows how much people like paying extra for things already made by the time the game comes out.

    1. I’m usually a big supporter for Alien: Isolation but this one is conflicting. I’m never a fan of pre-order DLC.
