Hey everyone,

This week’s Week in Review will be a relatively short one as I’ve got a lot of work to do and it’s getting pretty late here. So here goes.

This week, once again, was pretty quiet here at OnlySP. We’ve been doing a pretty good job lately of keeping up with the latest reviews and gaming news, as well as releasing quite a few interesting editorials to read. I’m really happy with how Dan’s Early Access Checkup series is shaping up and I’m glad developers are starting to notice it as they did with his latest one covering The Long Dark.

Aside from that this past week for me was mostly spent finishing up my summer courses and getting a long-form feature story done for one of my classes covering game development in the Midwest. Depending on how my teacher evaluates it, I’ll look into publishing it on the site as it was pretty interesting to write about. I managed to get opinions from developers on both coasts and two here in the Midwest.

This week I’ll be finishing up our E3 schedule which is looking fantastic right now. We’ve got a crazy amount of games lined up for appointments and will have interviews for a good majority of them along with hands-on impressions. IF you are a Patreon backer you’ll be getting an exclusive look at our schedule of events at the end of this week. If you want to see everything we’re covering at E3 before we post our actual coverage, please feel free to support our Patreon at the $2 tier to get early access. You might even get some other surprises while we’re at the show if you’re a backer.

I’ve just about completed Life is Strange and I have to say that I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s not often where I play games like this where I actually want to search the environments and actually hear everything everyone has to say, but Dontnod have done that for me. I’ve got episode 5 to complete and I plan to do that tomorrow night, assuming I’m not too busy.

Aside from that, haven’t really been playing much else. My roommate and I have been playing a lot of FIFA and Black Ops 3 lately…probably too much this past weekend. Other than that, I’ve been working on practicing my video and audio editing skills ahead of the show as well as practicing setting up my equipment for interviews.

We’ve got a lot of content planned for you and will do the best we can to make sure it’s of high quality. I’ll be posting a bigger update about the Patreon later this week, but we’d really appreciate it if you enjoy coming to read and watch our content if you’d support us. If just a quarter of our reader base supported us at the $1 level we could really push OnlySP to new heights and provide you with more awesome features and coverage.

No giveaway this week, sorry guys. Hope you all have a great evening and enjoy watching Game of Thrones!
