Hello Games have FINALLY announced the long-awaited release date for No Man’s Sky. You’ll just have to wait till the next paragraph to read about it because journalism…

June 21, 2016. There, I didn’t make you wait that long did I? Yup, that’s the official release date for the game and you can officially pre-order the game starting today. In addition to the release date, Hello Games have also confirmed that No Man’s Sky will be released both digitally and physically. The no price was announced in the PlayStation Blog post, the game is expected to cost $59.99.

Hello Games have also promised post-launch support of the game following its initial release, provided they make the money to do so. Based on the amount of hype surrounding No Man’s Sky, I seriously doubt they’ll have any money problems in the near future.

We haven’t covered No Man’s Sky all that much due to the shared world focus, but due to reader feedback we’ve decided to start covering the game a bit more. Especially since the developers have previously stated that you may go through the entire game without seeing another actual player. Cool.

Stay tuned for more No Man’s Sky news as more press previews and news comes out about the game in the upcoming weeks leading up to launch. No Man’s Sky launches on the PS4 and PC on June 21, 2016.
