The Last Campfire trailer title

No Man’s Sky developer Hello Games has revealed its upcoming title The Last Campfire, a “short” adventure game.

The Last Campfire tells the story of “a lost ember trapped in a puzzling place, searching for meaning and a way home.” The game’s music is being composed by Josh Garrels.

Revealed as a “Hello Games short,” the game will be released on Steam in 2019. Check out the reveal trailer below.

Hello Games is best known for No Man’s Sky, the action-adventure survival game initially criticised for its lackluster gameplay and lack of truthful communication from the developer. The game has since received several updates, including “NEXT”, the game’s most significant update, and “Visions”, the most recent update.

Rhain discovered a long time ago that mixing one of his passions (video games) with the other (writing) might be a good idea, and now he’s been stuck in the industry for over six years with no means of escaping. His favourite games are those with deep and captivating narratives: while it would take far too long to list them all, some include L.A. Noire, Red Dead Redemption (and its sequel), Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Last of Us, and the Uncharted series.
