Ninja Theory

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice developer Ninja Theory is continuing its train of gamer goodwill by pledging a donation based on Hellblade’s success on Xbox One when it launches April 11.

In a tweet from the official Ninja Theory account, the developer announced it would donate $25,000 to Mental Health America if the game sells 50,000 units in its first week. If the game manages to sell 100,000 units in its first week, the developer will double its initial donation.

These donations are appropriate considering mental health is a central focus in Hellblade. Ninja Theory has made a sizable donation before too: last October, the developer pulled together $80,000 to give to charity.

Michael fell into the OnlySP team toward the end of 2017. You’ll mostly catch his work over in the news area, but that doesn’t mean he won’t dip into the features section every now and then. For him, gaming doesn’t get much better than Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario Sunshine. Though he is a die-hard Nintendo fan, he grew up on PlayStation.
