NieR: Automata Platinum Games

A new listing on the ESRB website has revealed that the widely-praised action-RPG NieR: Automata is getting a re-release with the subtitle Game of the YoRHa Edition.

So far, developer Square Enix has not announced the title officially, but the ESRB listing shows that the re-release will be heading to PC and PlayStation 4. Xbox One is not listed, but since NieR: Automata only released on that platform earlier this year, which is to be expected.

The title is a reference to the plot of the game, which concerns an ongoing war between the remnants of humanity and the machines, who are being controlled by an alien intelligence. The players control combat androids who are part of a group called YoRHa, hence the title.

NieR: Automata is currently on Sale on Steam with a 50% discount, and similar deals are also available in other Black Friday sales, such as EB Games in Canada.
