Square Enix has confirmed the ESRB leaks revealing the existence of a re-release of NieR: Automata, titled  NieRAutomata Game Of The YoRHa.

Headed to PlayStation 4 and PC on February 26, 2019, Game of the YoRHa Edition includes the base NieRAutomata game and a slew of extras. Players who purchase the title get the 3C3C1D119440927 Expansion, four new pod designs (Grimoire Weiss Pod, Retro Grey Pod Skin, Retro Red Pod Skin, and Cardboard Pod Skin) and the Machine Mask Accessory.

PlayStation 4 owners also receive access to a new dynamic theme, 15 PlayStation Network avatars and the Play Pod and amazarashi Pod skins. Steam players, meanwhile, get two new wallpapers and an in-game Valve accessory.

“Square Enix has asked me for a comment to mark the announcement of the NieR: Automata Game of the YoRHA Edition,” said game director Yoko Taro. “Now that you mention it, NieR: Automata was first released on the 23rd of February 2017 in Japan, 7th of March 2017 in America and on the 10th of March 2017 in Europe. I have noticed something bizarre and fascinating about these numbers: if you write these dates out in long-form as 20170223, 20170307 and 20170310, then add all three numbers together, you get 60510840. If you take that total, split the digits in two down the middle, making 6051 and 0840, and then subtract the second number from the first… unbelievably you get 5211!! That’s right, a number completely devoid of all meaning! Just like life really, isn’t it? Over and out.”

Okay, Yoko.

NieR: Automata Platinum Games

Square Enix also announced that NieR: Automata, originally released in February 2017, has sold an impressive 3.5 million units digitally and physically, up from three million in June. Both the Japanese publisher and series creator, Yoko Taro has been somewhat coy on the subject of a new game in the franchise, with producer Yosuke Saito only willing to state that the series has a 50% chance to continue.

NieR: Automata Game Of The YoRHa Edition hits PlayStation 4 and Steam on February 26, 2019, for $39.99
