Namco Bandai has announced that Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will release on November 10, 2017.
The game revisits the setting of the 2013’s PlayStation 3-exclusive Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, but introduces entirely new characters and a story taking place several hundred years after Oliver’s adventure. The game will follow a new protagonist, the boy-king Evan, whose throne of Ding Dong Dell is usurped.
The story will involve the efforts of Evan and his friends to build a new kingdom, with the mechanics reflecting the mission.
As with the previous title, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is being developed by Level-5 Games, though anime house Studio Ghibli will not be as closely involved in the development of the story and visual style of the game
More details about the game are available in OnlySP’s Most Anticipated preview from earlier this year. The game will be available on PC and PlayStation 4 from November 10.
