Alien: Isolation is heading to store shelves Tuesday of next week, and it’s in a rather peculiar place. It’s continuing a franchise that’s been marred by quite a few poorly developed titles, and you’d be downplaying things a bit if you said expectations are somewhat low.

Having said all that, all the reviews and accolades shown thus far for the game are significant in number – plus the latest TV spot for Isolation touts the fact that the title has been “nominated for over 50 awards”. So it has that going for it, which is nice…

Gamers interested in the title have quite a few choices in pre-order deals. Here’s a quick breakdown:

PC Deals for Alien: Isolation

Console Deals for Alien: Isolation

  • Best deal for Xbox 360/Xbox One:
    • at Microsft Store for $50 and $60 with bonus of $10 Xbox Gift Card
  • Best deal for PS3/PS4:
    • GameStop given they have an extra store-exclusive Last Survivor DLC

Console deals are a bit light for Alien: Isolation, and this is the usual unfortunate situation for console gamers. 360 and PS3 gamers will have a cheaper MSRP than the 8th Gen Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

If you’re an Xbox gamer, buying the game directly at Microsoft Store will net you a pre-order bonus of a $10 Xbox Gift Card, good for adding $10 to your Xbox account.

Deals are non-existent for PS3/PS4 on Alien: Isolation, so the next best choice would be GameStop, where you’ll at least get an extra DLC, no matter how minuscule the actual item is. In this case, you’ll be able to play as Ellen Ripley, completing the last mission on the Nostromo.
