Last year, the developer called Chariots behind the upcoming, first-person perspective open-world RPG with city building elements named Northern Shadow gave us an update that the game was now being developed on Unreal Engine 4 instead of Unity.

Following this, Chariots have posted three new screenshots for Northern Shadow running on Unreal Engine 4, showing off different sections of the game’s environments from a cave, to a grassy field, to a candlelit room. The developers also tease that more information about their procedural dialog system will be coming soon.

What other screenshots from Northern Shadow environments using Unreal Engine 4 would you like to see? Let us know in the comments section below, and be sure to follow OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter for more news.

Northern Shadow will be releasing for the PC with an undetermined release date for an early access alpha.
