An exciting combination between the Creative Assembly’s Total War series and the massively popular world of Warhammer, Total War:Warhammer is currently in production for PC.
The turn-based real-time strategy genre that Total War is famous for has invaded the Warhammer series in the first of a trilogy set for development over the next few years.
The game features four playable factions including the Empire, the Greenskins, the Dwarfs and the Vampire Counts. As you would expect each faction includes its own units as well as their own unique campaign elements, such as personal strategies and attacks. Magic will also be available in combat (depending on your faction), and players will even encounter flying enemies such as a magnificent dragon.
With a map spanning from the Great Ocean to the World’s Edge Mountains there will be plenty of land to pile through, with popular traits of the Total War series returning, such as city-building and diplomacy.
You can catch a seven-minute campaign walkthrough using the Empire faction below, and look forward to the release of Total War: Warhammer on April 28 exclusively for PC. You can see a gameplay trailer for the Greenskins faction here.
