New screenshots have been released of first-person title KURSK, based on the sunken submarine of the same name.
In addition, DSOGaming reported that developer Juubee Games announced they’ll also be appearing at Gamescom with the first playable demo of the title. The date of unveiling for the general public will be on the 18th later this month. If you happen to be visiting the European games convention, according to a press release, they’ll be at “Gamescom Entertainment Section, Hall 10, Aisle A-019.”
KURSK follows the crew of the Russian submarine of the same name which, after two major explosions, began to sink. Six hours later, all 118 crew members were discovered dead by the Russian navy. It seeks to feature a compelling story based on the recorded information of the events on the 12th of August 2000. In addition, according to a prior story by us, the developers stated: “the game will look at the tragedy of the submarine ship from a new angle and will combine first-person action with a heavy focus on a carefully crafted story and engrossing gameplay.”
KURSK will be docking in on the Xbox One, PS4, Windows, Mac and Linux, although no release date has been revealed as of yet.
