Adult Swim Games has announced a new Samurai Jack game that is set to release this year.
Developed by Japanese studio Soleil Games, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time will see players attempt to defeat Aku. The hack-and-slash action takes place across a variety of timelines as Jack hunts down his evil nemesis.
This game will be the first based on the franchise since 2004’s Samurai Jack: The Shadow of Aku. Head writer from the series, Darrick Bachman, has returned to take charge of the game’s story. Additionally, the title’s art design will also replicate the stylized look of the original cartoon.
