Metal Max Xeno: Reborn

A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Metal Max Xeno: Reborn.

Kadokawa Games’ trailer does not show all that much, but it presents the game’s desert over world filled with robots, large ants, and land sharks. While not confirmed, one noticeable change is the shift from a turn based battle system in 2018’s Metal Max Xeno to a more real time system in Reborn. The trailer shows a targeting reticle on a moving land shark as well as some characters performing some attacks on it.

The end of the trailer shows a shiba inu with a tank gun on its back. First print copies will include a DLC item called “Super Wan Wan Gourmet,” which increases the dog’s abilities.

Metal Max Xeno: Reborn will launch on March 26, 2020 in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. A western localization has not been announced as of yet.
