Kingdom Come: Deliverance

A studious modder called Jindra1403 has one-upped Warhorse Studios by creating a super hardcore mode that increases the difficulty of Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

The mod builds on the hardcore mode that the developer added as part of its extensive post-launch support for the acclaimed RPG.

To that end, the survival mechanics have been overhauled to require the player to sleep and eat at more realistic intervals, and the character’s overall carrying capacity has been reduced.

The other significant change is directed at the combat, which increases the aggressiveness of enemies and the amount of stamina that actions such as blocking and drawing a bow require.

Further alterations increase the difficulty of random encounters, reduce the monetary rewards for missions, and make equipment repair more difficult.

The full list of changes and instructions for installation are available here.

With the release of the ‘A Woman’s Lot’ DLC earlier this year, Warhorse officially wrapped up production on Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The studio is yet to reveal its next project, though has previously hinted to OnlySP the possibility of a direct sequel.
